1KUNS-PF re-entered the atmosphere on 12 June 2020 and is no longer in orbit, so live tracking and pass predictions are no longer available. This page records the orbit it flew and the ground segment that operated it.

Orbit

1KUNS-PF was deployed from the International Space Station on 11 May 2018 and therefore followed the ISS orbit: a low Earth orbit at roughly 400 km altitude with an inclination of about 51.6°, decaying steadily until re-entry two years later.

It was catalogued as NORAD ID 43466 — note that some catalogues reported the wrong name against this object. The historical elements remain on Celestrak.

Ground segment

1KUNS-PF was operated from three ground stations — Nairobi, Rome and Malindi — all using similar Yagi aerials with tracking capability, in order to maximise the useful time of each pass.
